This Cookie Policy explains how the Spectors website (the "Site"), operated by IELLO TECH SRL, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage and comparable mechanisms that store or read information on your device. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use only what is needed to make the Site work and to remember your choices. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Non-essential cookies are set only after you allow them through our cookie-consent manager. Nothing is pre-ticked, and you can change your mind at any time (see §5).
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for the Site to function and to stay secure. They do not need your consent, because the Site cannot work properly without them. They include:
- Consent record — remembers the cookie choices you made, so we do not ask again on every page and so we can prove your choice.
- Security — protects the Site and the contact form against abuse, spam and fraudulent submissions (provided by our hosting provider at the edge).

3.2 Functional / preferences (consent-based)
These cookies remember choices you make to give you a better experience. They run only if you allow the "Functional" category in the consent manager.
- Language preference — remembers whether you chose English or Romanian, so the Site opens in your preferred language.

3.3 Analytics (not currently used)
The Site does not currently use analytics or measurement cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will add it here as a separate, consent-based category, describe each cookie and its duration, and it will run only after you opt in through the consent manager. This section is a placeholder for that possibility — no analytics cookie is set today.
4. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); under the ePrivacy rules they are exempt from the consent requirement.
- Functional and any future non-essential cookies are used only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give — and can withdraw — through the consent manager.
5. Managing and withdrawing consent
You are always in control:
- When you first visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential categories, or choose per category.
- You can reopen your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link (available in the Site footer) and turn categories on or off.
- Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately for future page loads.
- You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.

6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes or when the law requires it. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, make the update visible on the Site.
